About Us

We started with an idea: to give people great homes in great suburban neighborhoods to help them start over. It was a revolutionary idea, since most recovery housing is found in the worst parts of town. It is hard to change your life when you are back in the same environment. Our owners have high expectations of the men and women who move into their homes. They self-improved in prison or in recovery and they plan to keep at it. At Chima Homes, we believe that everybody deserves a fresh start.

Residents at Chima Homes are free to come and go as they wish, but at the same time must adhere to our house rules. Our experienced team and house managers know that every healing process is different, and use a variety of services to support each individual.
